How the current Proximate website handles technical request data and future correction emails.
Website features
The current site does not include public user accounts, comments, a newsletter form, advertising tags or third-party analytics scripts. Publication dates and content are stored in local site files and do not require visitor profiles.
Hosting and security logs
The web host and site software may record technical request data such as IP address, time, requested URL and user agent for security, reliability and fault diagnosis. Access to those logs should be restricted to authorised operators, and logs should not be retained longer than operationally necessary.
Correction and contact emails
If you submit a correction report after the public editorial mailbox is activated, the message may contain your name, email address, the affected URL and supporting evidence. This information is used to assess and reply to the request and is not added to unrelated marketing lists.
Cookies
The Proximate application does not set advertising, analytics or personalisation cookies on public editorial pages. If hosting, analytics, consent management, embedded media, subscriptions or public forms are added later, this notice and the technical configuration must be reviewed before those services are enabled.
